The other day after shopping at BabiesRUs and on the way home, Alexander suddenly wanted to see Jenna, Isabella and Maya. “Mama, I want to see Jenna, Bella, Maya…” he said while pointing straight front (we were on Whipple Road, just about to get to 880 on ramp). “You need to take a nap. We’ll do it next time ok?” I said. Of course he didn’t like the answer and cried. The next day, while we were on 880 North and about to pass Whipple Road exit, “Mama, I want see Jenna, Bella, Maya… “Alexander said again pointing at the right window.
Now, I don’t know what a 2 1/2 year old kid can do, but it’s pretty amazing to us what Alexander did with direction. It reminds me of the times while we were on 580 to see our family dentist in Pleasanton– “Mama goes to see Dr. Ting?” he asked.
One thing for sure: Being a direction dummy, I definitely won’t get lost with Richard and Alexander around.
Perhaps you don’t need to activate the navigation system in you mini van in near future!
